When you are having more than one RF system you need to distinguish one from another. This channels are for the purpose of distinguishing. But you need to make same arrangement on both remote and receiver. You can make combination of channel by putting jumper on it. On remote you just need to give it power supply that may range between +9V to +12V. You will need to make following connection on remote and receiver. The receiver part has got one onboard L293D motor driver that can drive 2 motors as per the signal received by 12E. 12E and 12D is using for encoding and decoding of communication.
